WeGastro acts through its direct MUCOPROTECTIVE CAPACITY and the formation of a barrier on top of the stomach contents, which prevents gastric reflux. Furthermore, it has a relaxing effect that reduces the local and central stimulus of vomiting.
Gastric Relief and Protection
The gastrointestinal mucosal barrier is continuously exposed to harmful toxins, reactive oxygen species, microorganisms and drugs, which leads to the development of inflammatory, erosive and ulcerative lesions. The initial stages of these changes are difficult to identify, as the animal only presents loss of appetite and general malaise associated with indigestion and gastroesophageal reflux, sometimes accompanied by abdominal pain. The continuous reflux of gastric acid content into the esophagus promotes the establishment of esophagitis and the worsening of the problem and symptoms.
In more advanced stages, the animal may vomit more or less frequently, depending on the evolution and severity of the process.
The known causes of gastric problems in pets are:
Use of certain medications that may lead to increased acid production or the risk of ulceration;
Treatments with substances and drugs with a nauseating effect;
Inadequate diet: the way they eat, the type or quantity of food;
Overweight;
Other individual problems, secondary to other pathologies.
How to use, recommendations and doses:
Administer 1ml for every 5kg of the animal’s weight.
It is recommended to attach the dosing syringe to the bottle, remove the desired amount and administer directly into the animal’s mouth.
Administer after meals or after taking medication, 2 to 3 times a day. Shake before use.
Store in a cool, dry place, in the original packaging and at a temperature below 25ºC. Protect from light and heat.
